Connective Visions presents—with civility, meaningful information, thoughtful reflection and a dose of humor that veers away from cynicism—writing and images that explore history, technology, travel, art, spirituality and even (sometimes) politics.

Most of the material comes out of my experiences and observations in my home state of Pennsylvania and elsewhere in the country; my wanderings thus far through Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom; and my reactions to events in my native culture and my adopted ones. Cyberspace is truly multicultural, and Connective Visions investigates the varied ways culture manifests itself in an individual life.

I hope to inspire reflection about our similarities, our differences, our challenges. I welcome your responses, too, within the site guidelines. And I invite you to poke around in the online store, where I’ve selected items related to seasons and material I cover – and a few things I just like, which don’t need an article to explain them.
